If you love animals and are passionate about customer service, this just might be the perfect role for you. Our Veterinary Room Technicians build a bridge between client care and patient care. You will work closely with the doctor to accomplish all of the patient’s service needs, and work together to give a positive experience to both the pet parent and the patient. We are AAHA accredited, and privately owned and operated by compassionate, and family-minded individuals. We provide full-service small animal general medicine, surgery, orthopedic, theriogenology, behavioral, and urgent care services. We are located between the beautiful White Mountains and scenic coastline of New Hampshire. We are proud to have been providing quality care with compassion for nearly 40 years to pet owners of the greater seacoast area. We believe in nurturing growth and development, as well as maintaining a positive work atmosphere with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Lots of snuggles, cuddles, and kisses with our patients
2. Client education
3. Taking/recording weights and patient check-in
4. Phlebotomy (we will teach the right candidate)
5. Restraint
6. Give vaccinations and perform nail trims
7. Fill prescriptions
8. Schedule follow-up appointments
9. Assist with imaging or other service needs
Qualifications:
1. You must have experience working in a customer service environment, in addition to having experience working in an animal hospital, an animal shelter, an animal daycare facility, or experience working as a human nurse or LNA.
2. All candidates must have a high school diploma or a GED.
