We are seeking an energetic and dedicated HR Advisor to join our client's Human Resources team within the energy and natural resources industry, based in Birmingham. This role will provide comprehensive HR support, focusing on delivering effective solutions to our diverse workforce.

Description
1. Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing employment contracts, onboarding materials, and induction schedules.
2. Facilitate new hire orientation sessions to introduce company policies, culture, and values.
3. Liaise with IT and facilities teams to ensure new employees have the necessary tools and resources from day one.
4. Maintain and update employee records in the HR system, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
5. Assist in the preparation of HR reports and metrics related to recruitment and employee onboarding.
6. Support HR initiatives such as employee engagement activities, training sessions, and diversity and inclusion programs.
7. Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations that may impact HR and recruitment practices.
8. Work closely with the HR team and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and provide recruitment support.
9. Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and enhancing the employee experience.
10. Conduct thorough reference checks for shortlisted candidates, ensuring their qualifications and experience align with the role requirements.
11. Coordinate background checks as needed, ensuring all checks are completed before extending job offers.
Profile
A successful HR Advisor should have:
1. CIPD Level 3
2. Proficiency in HR systems and databases.
3. Good knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. A problem-solving mindset with a high level of confidentiality.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and diverse environment.
7. Experience in a similar role.
Job Offer
1. An estimated hourly wage of GBP 15.50 - GBP 18.00.
2. Hours of 09:00 - 17:30 with flexible working hours also available.
