Volunteer to help Sue Ryder be there when it matters
Join our friendly team as an eBay Hub and e-Commerce Volunteer at our Fakenham eBay hub! This is a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience in e-commerce whilst helping us to raise funds for our important charity work.
Our eBay hub was established in Spring 2023 and is an exciting place to work with the range of amazing items that we process. In this role, you will identify and research a range of products that have been donated ready to be listed on the Sue Ryder eBay page to maximise revenue.
Whether you could help for a few hours, or even a day or two, contact us to book in for a friendly taster session, where you will learn more about the hub and the volunteer role.
The Role – eBay Hub and e-Commerce Volunteer
1. Photograph items to sell
2. Researching and value items
3. Write descriptions for item listings
4. Dispatching sold items
5. Sorting, labelling, pricing of stock
6. Greeting and helping customers
7. Light cleaning/tidying duties to keep the shop inviting and well presented
About you
As a eBay Hub and e-Commerce Volunteer you will:
1. Enjoy helping and engaging with customers
2. Be competent with IT & have a good level of literacy
3. Have the ability to work as part of a team
4. Be reliable
5. Have similar experience using eBay or equivalent eCommerce platforms.
