Cardinal Newman is a highly successful 11-18 Catholic comprehensive school set in 37-acre grounds in the pleasant outskirts of Coventry. In our most recent Ofsted visit, staff morale was identified as being high and we are fully committed to the positive wellbeing of our staff.
Within the Science department, we take every opportunity to support each other, and we have a new well-planned and fully resourced curriculum to share best practice and support staff wellbeing. With two Science technicians, every teaching laboratory is fully equipped, well-resourced, has a visualiser and IWB to support teaching and learning. We promote a love of Science through our extensive STEM and extra-curricular opportunities.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant contribution to the future success of our school. We are determined to continue to, to meet the needs of our students in an ever-changing world and we are confident that we will achieve our vision, which is simple: to become an outstanding school in all we do.
This is also a very exciting time to join our school as we prepare for the development of a brand-new, state of the art school opening in January 2026.
We are located within easy access of all areas of Coventry and commutable from surrounding areas such as Birmingham, Solihull, Leamington Spa and Sutton Coldfield.
