* Friday 12:30 finish
Do you think you have the right skills to progress within the business? Torque Consulting are on the hunt for a Junior Electrical Design Engineer to join their highly skilled team developing new and existing product ranges and supporting the sales and production teams with design and technical information
Job Role Overview
* Modification of standard designs to meet project requirements
* Control panel design
* Create parameter sets for variable frequency drives
* Create and maintain electrical drawings and documentation
* Support senior engineers on larger projects
* Communicate effectively across departments and disciplines
* Work within company quality and safety procedures
Knowledge and Experience
Essential:
* Qualified to HNC Level or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or similar
* Able to interpret electrical drawings
* Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Excel
* Comfortable interacting across the business
* Able to work from heights for occasional site visits
* Able to manage own workload in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
* Degree qualified or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
* Experience in a similar industry
* Experience in Electrical CAD
