Humberside Engineering Training Association HETA is a rapidly expanding Group Training Association (GTA) with training centres in Hull, Grimsby and Scunthorpe. HETA provide training to Level 3 & 4 engineering apprentices, higher education and upskilling courses for over 300 of our client companies. HETA are proud to work with some of the biggest names in engineering and manufacturing, working together we support the growth of engineering training locally, regionally and nationally.
An exciting position has become available working in our Sales and Marketing team. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a vital role in driving the sales function of HETA, ensuring the growth and success of our training services. Your consultative approach will help connect businesses with the right training solutions to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver a first-class consultative sales experience, promoting the full range of HETA products and services.
• Achieve personal sales targets and contribute to overall team objectives.
• Develop and deliver engaging sales presentations using various media and techniques.
• Maintain regular, effective communication with prospects and customers, ensuring all interactions are recorded in the CRM system.
• Manage a personal pipeline of opportunities, ensuring continuous progress towards goals.
• Develop tailored business proposals for prospective and existing clients.
• Conduct sales meetings with potential and current customers to identify and address their needs.
• Gather and share market intelligence to support HETA’s strategic and operational planning.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, learners, businesses, and the wider community.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, including health and safety and quality management.
• Organize and participate in meetings, staff events, and open days, including assisting with event coordination and communication.
• Support the promotion of HETA, its apprentices, and achievements by planning and assisting with relevant marketing and outreach events.
Location and Travel
The position would be based at our Hull centre however a driving licence with access to own transport is required as travelling between centres and to our client companies is a requirement.
