Role: Programmes Planner (P6) Location: London 3 days weekly. Salary: Up to £60,000. La Fosse are currently partnered with an international market-leading media brands, broadcasting, and outdoors organisation who are looking for a Primavera P6 Planner to join their team following a large tender renewal with one of their clients. You would be based within the Outdoors Operations function to create, review, and maintain project plans for major CAPEX programmes. This role reports to the Director of Programmes, with key stakeholders including the executive team, Operations Director, Operations Team, Partnership team, Finance, and the Programme Delivery team. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed project schedules in Primavera P6, encompassing all phases from initiation to completion. Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and resource requirements. Support NEC4 contract administration. Establish and maintain project baselines, ensuring schedules are realistic, achievable, and aligned with project objectives and client expectations. Monitor project progress, updating schedules and timelines to reflect actual progress and potential delays. Create and distribute progress reports, including milestone tracking. Identify scheduling risks and implement mitigation strategies. Adjust timelines and resources to manage changes and reduce project delays. Integrate resources and costs into schedules for accurate forecasting and budget tracking. Ensure optimal resource allocation, flagging potential resource conflicts and suggesting alternatives. Act as a liaison between project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders. Present schedule analysis and updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and addressing project impacts. Recommend process improvements, schedule optimizations, and Primavera P6 best practices to enhance project outcomes and planning efficiency. Ensure all planning and scheduling activities comply with internal policies, industry standards, and client requirements. Must Haves: Proficiency in Primavera P6, with 3 years of experience in scheduling, planning, and project control for complex projects. Working knowledge of NEC4 contract management and legislation. Strong understanding of project management principles, including scope, time, cost, quality, risk, and resource management. Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to present complex scheduling data clearly to stakeholders at all levels. Ideally certified/qualified at a practitioner level – Prince2 or equivalent. Previous experience working on large-scale projects in industries such as construction, engineering, energy, or IT preferred. Familiarity with other scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project) and project management software is a plus. Comprehensive programme delivery experience including the review and management of month-end submissions. Building complex schedules across multiple projects. Working with highly detailed resource and cost-loaded programmes. Experience in risk identification and assessment of project deliverables. Strong communication and relationship management skills. Good presentation, facilitation, communication, and influencing skills. Motivated, well-organized, and methodical.
