If appointed, you will benefit from working within an established team of Mathematicians whilst also contributing to the education of students at an exciting stage of the Mathematics Department. Our staff are trained in supporting students overcoming barriers as well as enthusing them in learning Mathematics. We run the second most popular club (after Football) at the academy, Chess/Darts/Snooker We have a strong team of student ‘Maths Champions’ who champion our subject as well as conduct and feedback student voice termly. We now require Numeracy to be at the forefront of our agenda of building confident numerate adults. We strongly encourage meeting our team and embarking on a tour around the department.
