We currently have an opportunity for a Website Rebuild Project Manager to join our team based in Exeter or Bristol. Joining us on a full-time, six month fixed term contract, you will receive a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum plus excellent benefits. About the role Pennon Group is a leading environmental infrastructure company, committed to delivering sustainable solutions in water and waste management. We are seeking a talented individual to join us on a fixed term basis to spearhead the rebuilding of our Pennon website, ensuring it reflects our brand identity, complies with legal regulations, and provides an engaging user experience. As the Website Rebuilding Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire website reconstruction process, which will include strong project management and being able to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including our CEO.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Content Preparation: You will be Collaborating with various departments to gather and prepare compelling copy, imagery, and other content for the new website. Ensuring all content aligns with Pennon Group's brand guidelines and legal regulations.
2. Supplier Selection: You will also be researching and identifying suitable website development suppliers or agencies through a competitive tender and bidding process. Evaluating proposals and make recommendations based on expertise, cost and alignment with project goals.
3. Project Management: You will act as the primary liaison between Pennon Group and the selected web development supplier. Facilitate communication to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements, timelines, and update stakeholders on project progress, addressing any concerns or adjustments needed.
4. Quality Assurance: You will also be conducting thorough reviews of website content to ensure accuracy, relevancy, and adherence to brand and legal standards. Collaborating with internal teams to obtain necessary approvals for all website components.
5. Brand and Legal Compliance: Work closely with the communication and legal teams to ensure the website content complies with all applicable laws and regulations. Maintain brand consistency across the website, adhering to Pennon Group's visual and messaging guidelines.
What we are looking for:
6. Proven experience in project management, specifically in website development or reconstruction.
7. Strong understanding of web development processes, content management systems, and best practices.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
9. Familiarity with legal and brand compliance in the digital space.
10. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
