The Performance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the performance of multiple subcontractors working on various construction projects for OCU Opals. This role ensures that all subcontractors meet the agreed-upon quality, safety, cost, and timeline targets. The Performance Manager will work closely with internal teams, site managers, and subcontractors to ensure that all projects are delivered according to the highest possible standards.
Key Responsibilities:
o Monitor performance of Tier 2 subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project goals, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
o Develop and implement performance metrics to track subcontractor progress in areas such as quality, safety, schedule adherence, and cost efficiency.
o Conduct regular performance reviews with subcontractors, offering feedback and improvement plans when necessary.
o Identify and mitigate risks associated with subcontractor performance, including delays, cost overruns, and non-compliance with health and safety standards.
o Foster strong working relationships with subcontractors to create a cooperative environment.
o Facilitate regular progress meetings with subcontractors to ensure clear communication of expectations and deliverables.
o Work closely with the Health and Safety team to ensure that all subcontractors adhere to the main contractorâs safety policies and legal requirements.
o Implement corrective measures for subcontractors found to be non-compliant with safety regulations.
o Provide regular updates to the senior management team on subcontractor performance, including KPIs, risks, and improvements.
o Maintain accurate records of subcontractor performance reviews, meetings, and inspections for audit and compliance purposes.
What we are looking for:
* Experience in the construction industry, preferably with experience in subcontractor management.
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.
* Experience managing multiple subcontractors on large-scale projects.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Proven ability to manage budgets, costs, and schedules effectively.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
