Join a Supportive Team and Make a Difference in Special Education We are thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our Primary sector on a part-time basis (Wednesdays and Thursdays). This role is set to start as soon as possible and will run until July 2025. As an SEN Teacher, you will be working across PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) classes, providing tailored support to our students in a dynamic and nurturing learning environment. Wednesdays will be spent in the PMLD class, while Thursdays will be dedicated to the ASD class. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualised, high-quality teaching to students with PMLD on Wednesdays and ASD on Thursdays. Work closely with other teachers and support staff to create and implement tailored teaching strategies that meet the diverse needs of each student. Provide differentiated learning opportunities to help students progress at their own pace and achieve their goals. Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages confidence, independence, and social development. Monitor student progress, assessing their development and adapting teaching methods as needed. Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child’s learning and well-being. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in special education (experience with PMLD and ASD would be an advantage).
