Description We’re looking for Life Sciences Students to act as Digital Ambassadors, supplying material about their experiences in the School and student life as a member of Life Sciences. Additionally, students would take photos and video to provide the School’s Instagram pages and other social media areas. This role will run for the remainder of the academic year 2024-2025. This role is for Life Sciences Students Only (i.e. Students studying degrees in Biology, Genetics, Zoology, All Biochemistry Degrees, Neuroscience, Pharmacology, Sport & Exercise Science and Foundation Science) Start Date: March 2025 End Date: June 2025 Working Hours: Various Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour plus holiday pay The duties will include: Produce regular reels, photos and blogs for the School's Instagram page Come up with ideas for posts on the School Instagram site as well as other social platforms, in line with the University Style Guide Skills and experience required for the role: Write efficiently to agreed deadlines decided by an editor & in line with a style guide Identify new ideas for social media content, both individual and collaborative. Provide photos and video for social media and Instagram that catches the eye and shows off all aspects of student life in the School of Life Sciences What you can expect to gain during this role: Experience in the use of social media in a professional setting Develop creative skills in photography and videography Application Instructions: To apply, please complete the following questions and task.
