Company: Mercer Description: We are seeking a talented Client Account Manager to join our Darwin team. This role would suit an organised and passionate Account Manager from a Software as a Service (SaaS) / Tech industry background. Managing a portfolio of domestic and international clients of our market leading employee benefits enrolment platform. Responsible for understanding client objectives and bringing together software development, integration and employee benefit consulting teams to manage benefit offering changes and keep clients engaged. Based in London this is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. We will count on you to: Develop trusted client relationships across a portfolio of Global / National clients to understand business objectives at the Chief Executive Officer level Proactively project / change manage system enhancements by liaising with developers, integration engineers and benefit consultants and keep clients updated Provide excellent customer service to successfully retain a portfolio of clients through contract renewals whilst maintaining profitability Support marketing events and communications ensuring our clients are invited to events and webinars and are sent relevant thought leadership content Grow the revenue of your client base of existing business through careful planning and consistent execution Mentor junior members of the team and any regional Account Managers you work with What you need to have: Proven experience as an Account Manager, preferably in the Software as a Service (SaaS) or Tech industry. The ability to quickly build trust with clients and internal stakeholders though empathy and approachability Strong organisation and communications skills, with proven experience of project / change management Resilient, with a positive outlook and the ability to lead by example to get things done Ambitious, driven and self-motivated to achieve targets and KPI’s Commercially minded and able to ensure the client sees maximum value for their investment in Darwin What makes you stand out: Positivity and self-confidence with well-developed presentation skills Experience with owning a portfolio of B2B accounts, ideally in a technology / SaaS environment An understanding of employee benefits and the wider benefits ecosystem Strong track record of overachievement on existing business (install base) sales targets would be an advantage but not essential Why join our team: We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.
