Responsibilities:
1. Prepare admission packs
2. Record patient admissions and discharges on the relevant IT systems
3. Arrange sick certificates for patients on admission and throughout their stay as required
4. Obtain patient records from other hospitals as required
5. Ensure that all communication is within the boundaries of patient confidentiality, and seek guidance when unsure
6. Document information in accordance with Record keeping and Information Governance standards
7. Order stationary and food supplies for the ward
8. Sort incoming and outgoing mail on the ward
9. Book transport as required
10. Undertake photocopying, filing and archiving services
11. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with the Data Protection Act & Priory Group policy
12. Minute take meetings as required
13. Provide cover and support to the wider team and site as needed.
