We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Services Consulting Director to join our TSYS International Strategic Business Development team. You will be a pivotal part of the team, focused on planning, driving and implementing strategic business development objectives. The team is based in the UK, Malaysia, India, and Cyprus. This role focuses on driving services revenue for both new and existing clients as part of the organization’s GP2025 Transformation with a specific focus in Cloud Processing in international markets. The role is responsible for identifying and managing new strategic business opportunities, exploring new geographic markets, major segment initiatives, and forming key partnerships and alliances aligned with our long-range strategic plans.
What Part Will You Play?
The Senior Services Consulting Director as part of the International Strategic Business Development team is an expert at managing and resolving high levels of complexity associated with new client sales and implementations, new product/service launches and/or third-party data conversions involving a wide range of systems and technologies whilst providing strategic oversight to balance risk to achieve program and revenue objectives. Crucially, the Senior Services Consulting Director is an expert at building and sustaining strong client relationships up to and including C level, where they become a trusted partner, ensuring ongoing alignment and ultimately satisfaction with program outcomes.
Ensures that business service capabilities are developed or enhanced such that they are strategic enablers for growing incremental revenue in international markets. The key objective will be to define and lead Go To Market (GTM) development for growth, with a focus on supporting GTM Service Capabilities for TSYS International Sales Regions.
Provide support and guidance to the International GTM team to increase market presence and client revenue growth through Services Consulting to promote opportunities in Europe and/or AMEA:
1. Champion and guide the development of service capabilities for direct and indirect GTM solutions for sales activities.
2. Drive the expansion and penetration in high growth markets leveraging innovative approaches.
3. Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships and alliances that provide new channels to sell and deliver our products and services.
Ensure the commercialisation of Services delivered from Cloud Solutions, by collaborating closely with Product, Pricing, and Commercial teams ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and maximizing operational and revenue outcomes.
Expand our international value chain by providing input to the development and launch of targeted sales campaigns, specifically designed for cloud-based services and products and support projects aligning with strategic modernization goals.
Partner with our leadership, sales and client teams to pinpoint opportunities for our strategic focus and provide senior level support to the sales process and the sales effectiveness drivers for new and existing services.
Lead and foster cross-functional collaboration within the business maximizing efficiency and ensuring an integrated, client-focused approach.
Mentor and coach high-performing teams fostering a result orientated culture of innovation, accountability and excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Business Services Expertise: Provide extensive business solutions and service knowledge, leadership and oversight for international products, supporting all stages, from specification refinement to partial or complete ownership of business service design.
2. Strategic Analysis and Solution Design: Conduct thorough analyses to ensure accuracy and propose alternative solutions that generate incremental value. This includes feasibility studies and risk assessments to prioritize deliverables effectively.
3. Client-Centric Strategy Development: Own efforts to understand and integrate client needs into strategic plans that align with both TSYS and client requirements, ensuring solutions and services are tailored and relevant.
4. Project and Implementation Oversight: Oversee high-level implementation project and business service plans, ensuring projects stay aligned with strategic objectives and financial targets.
5. Business Direction and Client Negotiations: Provide strategic business direction and support or lead negotiations with clients to secure and finalize agreements. Ensure alignment of project objectives with business goals and client expectations.
6. Collaboration and Leadership: Partner with business, technical, operations, and end-user teams to develop desired solutions.
7. System Requirements Review: Influence and approve service and solution requirements to confirm they fulfill business needs, contributing to the overall integrity of the solution.
8. Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a principal Subject Matter Expert for complex projects, guiding teams through detailed requirement analyses and their impacts on customers and systems.
9. Team Engagement and Problem Solving: Lead client-facing and internal team meetings to determine effective solution approaches. Address and resolve complex issues, leveraging specialized knowledge and experience.
Essential requirements:
1. 10+ years relevant experience in the financial services industry (preferably payment systems industry) and/or IT industry.
2. Educated to degree level in a relevant subject such as Computer Science, MIS, Business or Finance.
3. Experience and knowledge of application development methods and the software development lifecycle preferably with banking/payment applications.
4. Demonstrated/proven ability to build relationships at different levels with a variety of stakeholders, up to and including C level.
5. Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives/teams but also demonstrate the ability to act independently.
6. Experience of working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

2. Strong ability to learn new technologies and positively handle situations/tasks of wide-ranging complexity and risk.
3. Flexibility to travel as required (in the future).
4. Flexibility to work unsociable hours with clients and teams in different time zones when required.
