We are seeking a highly accomplished and visionary Commercial Director to lead our commercial strategy and drive significant revenue growth. The role:
* Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies to achieve ambitious revenue targets, expand market share, and establish Syos as a global leader in autonomous systems.
* Commercial Excellence: Lead all aspects of commercial operations, including sales, business development, marketing, contract negotiation, and strategic partnerships.
* Business Development and Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, driving international sales, establishing strategic partnerships in key regions, and leading the business development function.
* Risk Management and Contractual Expertise: Provide expert guidance on commercial, contractual, and risk management matters, ensuring optimal project outcomes and mitigating potential liabilities.
* Intellectual Property and Export Control: Oversee the development and execution of Syos' intellectual property strategy and ensure strict compliance with export control regulations.
* Legal Oversight: Direct and coordinate legal reviews with external counsel, ensuring efficient and effective legal support for all commercial activities.
* Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing commercial team, encompassing sales, business development, and marketing, fostering a culture of excellence and driving continuous improvement.
Your experience:
* Extensive senior-level commercial leadership experience within the aerospace, drone, or related high-technology industry.
* Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth and achieving ambitious commercial targets in international markets.
* Demonstrated expertise in commercial law, contract negotiation, and risk management.
* In-depth knowledge of export control regulations and compliance requirements.
* Proven experience in developing IP strategy
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
* A relevant law degree or equivalent professional qualification.
* Experience in founding and developing commercial, business development and marketing departments.
