At NPP, we are currently working on behalf of a well-established, multi-disciplinary M&E services provider who is looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team at a high-profile site.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring that the site remains safe, compliant, and operational, supporting both planned and reactive maintenance activities.
The Role
As a Facilities Maintenance Electrician, you’ll be responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of electrical systems and infrastructure across the site. You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support project works.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine inspections and planned maintenance on plant, equipment, and site infrastructure
* Provide reactive electrical support, including fault finding and repairs
* Maintain compliance with electrical regulations and company safety standards
* Work closely with other trade teams and contractors to ensure systems are fully operational and safe
* Act as the site’s Electrical Duty Holder, ensuring ongoing compliance
* Support minor project works and continuous improvement initiatives
* Use a CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) to manage and log activities
* Be part of the site’s emergency response team and support out-of-hours call outs as required
What You’ll Need
Essential qualifications and experience:
* Recognised electrical qualifications (C&G 2330, 2360, 2365, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
* 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
* C&G 2391 or 2394/2395 for Inspection and Testing
* Previous experience in an electrical maintenance role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting
* Comfortable using diagnostic tools such as multimeters and ammeters
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety and compliance standards
* Good IT literacy and experience using maintenance software (CMMS)
Desirable:
* IOSH or equivalent H&S qualification
* Knowledge of mechanical systems and facilities services (e.g., HVAC, water systems)
* L8 Legionella and Asbestos awareness training
* Familiarity with PLC fault finding
