A bit about us…
Please allow us to celebrate our own success for a moment... We've built a customer-centric product that is market-leading, and we are smashing it!
We're a multi-award-winning digital payments platform within the automotive industry - working with over 4,000 automotive retailers, helping drivers to pay for motoring costs, accessories, and other services through a variety of different payment options, and ultimately keeping them on the road, in safer vehicles.
Our Head Office is in Sheffield City Centre, with offices also based in London and Turkey. We've also expanded further, bringing retailers in Ireland, Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands on board, and we plan to expand further into Europe and beyond - world domination here we come!
A bit about the role...
We’re looking for a data-driven and strategic Insights Analyst to join our team and play a key role in driving data-led decision-making at Bumper. You’ll be responsible for analysing business performance, identifying trends, and delivering actionable insights that strengthen our position as the go-to automotive payments platform in Europe.
This is a full-time role with three days a week based at either our Sheffield or London office depending on location. You’ll report directly to our Chief Growth Officer and work closely with teams across Bumper to turn data into meaningful business opportunities.
Key responsibilities:
* Develop data-driven B2C and B2B segmentation models, identifying high-valued customer groups and integrating qualitative and quantitative data that will lead to measurable revenue growth.
* Analyse customer retention trends and dealership activation patterns and provide insights to the growth, product, and sales team.
* Collaborate with CRM and underwriting teams to enhance personalisation, reduce churn, and maximise lifetime value.
* Work with the PR and social teams to analyse industry trends, financing adoption rates, and consumer sentiment, identifying new revenue opportunities.
* Assess the impact of digital and offline marketing campaigns, optimise budget allocation, and track key metrics such as CAC, ROI, and LTXV to improve marketing efficiency and revenue growth.
* Design and execute A/B tests to refine marketing strategies and product features, ensuring statistically validated improvements in revenue performance.
* Measure the impact of strategic initiatives, pricing changes, and operational enhancements on revenue, supporting sales and forecasting efforts.
* Manage GTM tags, integrate analytics tools, and collaborate with engineers to enhance tracking, ensuring data accuracy for revenue-driven decision-making.
* Conduct in-depth competitor analysis, assess customer card fees, and develop dynamic pricing models to maximise revenue and market competitiveness.
* Own and refine the Single Customer Model, ensuring accurate pricing, gross margin, and IRR analysis to drive sustainable revenue growth across all markets.
Now a bit about you...
We are a passionate and professional team, and we’re excited to welcome an Insights Analyst who shares our vision of making Bumper the No. 1 payments platform in Europe!
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where data-driven decision-making is at the heart of everything we do. If you have a naturally curious mindset, strong analytical skills, and a passion for transforming data into actionable insights that drive meaningful business impact, we’d love to hear from you!
What we are looking for in you:
* Proven track record in an Insights, Data, or Business Analyst role.
* Strong analytical skills, with hands-on experience using SQL, Python, or R for data analysis.
* Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights tailored for various business functions.
* Excellent stakeholder management, with strong communication skills to convey insights effectively at all levels.
* Proactive and independent thinker, capable of solving problems creatively and driving initiatives forward.
Nice to have:
* 3 years plus experience in a digital business environment.
* Experience in the automotive, fintech, or technology sectors is a plus.
* Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or Science (or a related field).
What you'll get from us...
* Competitive Salary

* Private Healthcare and Medicash plan
* We give 26 days holiday + bank holidays, plus volunteer days throughout the year (pro-rated)
* Tax-saving Salary Sacrifice Pension with Aviva
