Your Role:
As an Apprentice Site Manager, you'll work closely with our experienced site management teams to help coordinate daily site activities, manage administration tasks, and embrace the Octavius culture. You'll be fully supported as you develop your skills and gain practical experience, while also working towards formal qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you'll assist the site team in managing daily activities and overseeing the work of subcontractors. You'll learn how to lead site operations safely and effectively, helping the team achieve their project goals. You'll also assist in coordinating off-site work and managing health and safety documentation, all while contributing to project reporting and maintaining compliance with safety standards. Building and maintaining strong relationships within the team and supply chain will be key, as will representing the Octavius brand and values. You'll take responsibility for specific tasks under supervision and work towards achieving your personal targets.
What You Bring:
To join us, you'll need Maths and English at GCSE grade 5 or above, as this is required for entry onto the apprenticeship as well as 104 UCAS points or above. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. You should be proactive and organised, with a logical approach to problem-solving. You'll also need to be IT-literate, comfortable using Microsoft Office, and enjoy working as part of a team with a passion for learning.
