About Us:
Nurture Care Group Ltd is a small group of Children’s Therapeutic Residential Homes based in the West Midlands. Nurture Care Group specialises in providing long-term therapeutic homes to children aged 6 -18 who have experienced considerable trauma throughout their lives.

About the role:
In preparation for our 3rd Therapeutic Children’s Home opening early 2025, we are looking for an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager for our three-bed EBD therapeutic home based in Tettenhall Regis, Wolverhampton.
The appointed manager will have the opportunity to create the home from scratch, including building a dedicated team, driving the ethos of the home, and creating a nurturing and warm environment that promotes family values.
We are a therapeutic home with our own in-house clinical team who support the teams with the children’s needs and developing teams’ therapeutic knowledge through TACs, clinical assessments, and direct training.

What we are looking for:
1. A confident and experienced Registered Manager with a minimum of two years’ experience in a leadership role within children’s residential care.
2. Ideally a history of achieving good or outstanding in previous Ofsted inspections.
3. A good understanding of Therapeutic Practice and PACE.
4. A good understanding of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
5. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Care or working towards.
6. A good leader who inspires and motivates their team.
7. Good communication and written skills.
8. An organised individual who can manage their own workload and prioritise the needs of the home.
9. Proactive in improving outcomes for children and teams.
10. Adaptive to change and able to pivot to find the best way forward.
11. Supportive and approachable leader, ensuring that the team has the skills and resources to deliver high-quality care.
12. Analytical skills to assess data and work in partnership with other professionals.
13. Confidence to advocate for the children’s needs, wishes, and feelings.
14. Flexible working approach to support the team.
15. Part of the on-call system for the homes in the region.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations.
2. Lead and supervise your team, providing guidance in delivering exceptional care.
3. Develop and implement individual care plans and risk assessments.
4. Maintain effective communication with all involved in the children's lives.
5. Keep and maintain accurate records in line with regulations.
6. Ensure the children and teams are well safeguarded.
