We are looking for empathetic and kind individuals to work with vulnerable adults, including those who are homeless, addicts, ex-offenders, and individuals with mental health issues or who have been exploited. Your role would be to facilitate a cooking course, and once trained, you would be responsible for the smooth running of the sessions. You may also have the opportunity to mentor a member of the community and empower them to become the best version of themselves.
The Cooking Course facilitators will lead one of our cooking courses.
Skills
No experience is necessary, but you must be over 18 and willing to undergo a DBS check (at our expense) and provide references. Training will be provided.
Activities take place at various times throughout the week. We require a DBS check (also done at our expense), but are happy for volunteers to start without one, as they will be monitored until the DBS is received.
