Job overview
We are recruiting for a Clinical Rotational Pharmacist who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award winning and expanding clinical pharmacy team and be part of our exciting future at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust!
You will be part of an innovative and progressive pharmacy team that puts patient care at the centre of everything we do.
You will develop and expand your clinical knowledge through a structured rotational program that will include specialities such as general medicine, cardiology, care of the elderly, frailty, stroke, paediatrics, obstetrics, general surgery, trauma / orthopaedics, urology, plastics / ENT, elective surgery, dispensary, aseptics, medicine information and our renowned renal team.
We will fund and support post graduate training including Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy Practice followed by non-medical prescribing.

Main duties of the job
To receive training and gain experience in all aspects of pharmacy practice by participating in a structured programme incorporating the following rotations plus study for the General Practice Diploma.
Dispensary, including clinical trials
Production
Clinical Services- respiratory, general surgery, paediatrics, orthopaedics, acute medicine, urology, vascular, ENT, renal, cardiology, elderly care and stroke
You will be committed to your own education and training and will supervise and check the work of pharmacy technicians, pharmacy assistants and other staff, as required.

Qualifications/Training
* Masters Degree MPharm (or equivalent)
* Competency assessed and examined professional registration with the GPhC
* Mandatory CPD to maintain fitness to practice
* Able to undertake Diploma in Pharmacy Practice
