Tax Accountant ( Practice) - Career Growth in a Professional Finance Team near the Sherborne area. We have an opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, ICAEW, or ATT), ideally from Practice, to join a professional and experienced finance team. This role offers varied and hands-on experience, with clear opportunities for career progression. The Role You will be involved in financial reporting, tax compliance, and investment planning across a diverse range of businesses and interests. Working closely with experienced colleagues, you will have the chance to develop your skills and take on increasing responsibility. Key responsibilities include: Preparing and reviewing financial reports, budgets, and year-end accounts Supporting tax compliance and planning for individuals, businesses, and trusts Assisting with investment-related financial planning and regulatory compliance Contributing to projects and working with internal teams and external advisors About You We're looking for someone who: Has at least three years of relevant experience with a strong preference for experience within an accountancy practice, particularly in tax or accounting. Is qualified or part-qualified in ACCA, ICAEW, or ATT Is organised, detail-oriented, and proactive Handles sensitive information with discretion and professionalism Communicates effectively and works well in a team Is committed to ongoing learning and professional development What's on Offer Competitive salary of up to 40K depending on experience and qualification with the possibility of mid-year reviews and bonuses.
