We are supporting various customers worldwide in automotive development. We are recruiting for a Service Manager – Fleet Management & Vehicle Commissioning. The Service manager will plan and manage a fleet of Research & Development (R&D) vehicles supporting testing required to validate & verify new products/ functions/features. Manage vehicle usage plans, vehicle specifications, ordering and buying off vehicles from production Registration and commissioning of vehicles prior to on-fleeting Manage hand over of vehicles between R&D functions, ensuring they are on-time and fit for test Manage vehicle disposal Roles & Responsibilities Provide a single interface point between the customer fleet manager and the Bertrandt fleet management & vehicle commissioning team. Day to day management and supervision of the on-site Bertrandt team Manage analysis of vehicle request data to understand driving and usage patterns Generate monthly reports detailing fleet size, utilisation and individual vehicle status Develop the use of Excel macros & Tableau to enhance vehicle data collection and analysis Adapt fleet reporting KPIs as required Maintain fleet intranet site Facilitate a monthly review of service performance with the customer (fleet manager) Look ahead to the next month/quarter and agree a service plan with the fleet manager Interact with project team members in the UK, Germany & other locations as required What you bring along: Personal Experience Proven experience in a fleet management environment (2 years plus) Proven ability to self-manage & maintain a workplan to ensure service deliverables are met Proven ability to manage a team in a fleet management environment Well developed ability to communicate effectively Demonstrate the ability to be an independent and proactive actor in the interests of the project Experience in leading effective meetings (reviews, status report-outs & for issue resolution) Used to being flexible to the demands of the working environment Experience in Excel macros, EasyVDS, Fleetwave, Power BI & Tableau is preferred Role based in Cheshire, UK Travel to other locations may be required Full time on-site presence at customer site (no remote working) Full UK driving license is required Contact: Anne-Katrin Kloth Tel.: 44 1268 564-300
