We are seeking passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teachers to join various schools around Oxford. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop practical cooking skills, an understanding of nutrition, and a passion for food science. This role begins September 2025.
Duties as a Food Technology Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Teach a variety of topics, including food preparation, nutrition, hygiene, and food science.
* Encourage creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving in the kitchen.
* Ensure a safe and organised learning environment in food technology classrooms.
* Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Food Technology examinations (if applicable).
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Organise extracurricular activities such as cooking clubs or competitions.
Ideal Food Technology Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related subject.
* Experience teaching Food Technology at different key stages.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Food Technology Teacher.
* A commitment to inspiring and supporting students.
