We are looking for a Lecturer in Visual Cultures (Design) (0.6 FTE) to work across the Graphic Design and Illustration programmes in the School of Design as an active member of a teaching team delivering excellence in all areas of Graphic Design and Illustration. You will be joining an established team of academics and technicians delivering curricula to a diverse student cohort in the Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries at a London university. Graphic Design / Illustration is well-established at Middlesex University, with facilities that are second to none. The role will be held by a researcher and developing academic who combines professional practice activities with learning and teaching and a broader contribution to their programme. The role involves working collaboratively with the academic team to ensure that the programmes meet the needs of students, industry, and the wider organisation. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a coherent and effective curriculum that reflects the needs of the discipline of Visual Cultures across programmes and prepares students for their future careers. You will have teaching experience at HE level in Visual Cultures and will be a researcher with knowledge and experience of current design practice.
