MotorMatch Recruitment Ltd are recruiting for a Vehicle Prepper based in Exeter or surrounding areas
Join a dynamic and growing team at a leading automotive repair centre dedicated to providing top-quality service. With a track record of delivering excellence and dedication to customer satisfaction, the repair centre is seeking a skilled Vehicle Prepper to join their team.
As a Vehicle Prepper, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth functioning for the painting process in the Bodyshop. The primary responsibility will be to ensure that vehicles are correctly / accurately prepped and primed, ready for the refinishing process to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition.
As a Vehicle Prepper, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
* Performing repairs on the vehicle’s surfaces which include filling dents, sanding and smoothing to a seamless finish
* Responsible for the sanding, masking cars and panels in preparation for paint in align with the specification and procedures
* Polishing vehicles once painted to ensure they are copleted to the highest quality finish
* You will be required to complete larger repairs and prioritising any reworks
* Perform prepares and clean panels for priming, polishing and paint
* Engaging in teamwork to maintain timely repair completion
As a Vehicle Prepper, you will have:
* Previous experience as a Vehicle Prepper
* Level 3 Qualified
* ATA Accreditation (Preferably)
Flexible Working Schedule:
* Monday to Friday: 8AM to 5PM
