JOB TITLE: Site Electrical Engineer
LOCATION: Eastgate, Basildon
WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
REPORTING TO: Contract Manager
SALARY: £38,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:
To carry out Quoted Works, PPM’s and Reactive Repairs to Electrical, AC, M&E Plant and site Building Fabric. To complete proactive inspections and any required remedial repairs.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Carry out all allocated Quoted works on site
2. Take ownership for completions of works and ensure deadlines are met. Ensure Quoted works manager and client is kept informed of progress of works
3. Carry out reactive repairs as instructed by HD and respond within SLA to all work requests in line within Clients SLA’s/KPI’s
4. Respond promptly and within SLA to all Call Out job request. Attendance to be confirmed via phone portal. Escalate unresolved issues to On Call Manager
5. To ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules and industry best practices and in line with contract KPI’s. To be completed by due date including all required documentation to ensure 100% compliance
6. Responsible for ordering all required parts for reactive jobs via the help desk
7. Risk assessments must be completed before all PPM and Reactive works commence
8. Maintain the professional image of ABM at all times through positive presentation, behaviours and attitudes. ABM uniform to be worn at all times
9. Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all Client representatives and ABM employees
10. Ensure the provision of a Safe & Healthy working environment and promote a positive safety culture and ensure ABM safety rules are adhered to at all times
11. To operate customer software systems, where required promptly and effectively to ensure efficient maintenance activities
12. To conduct weekly proactive inspections and raise required reactive jobs and complete works to raise site standards
13. Ensure work reports, and necessary ABM documentation is sent to the Admin team promptly within set timescales
14. To attend Client meetings and provide effective communications to site operations
15. Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development

22. Ensure absence is kept to a minimum and inform Contract Manager on the first day of unplanned before your agreed start time. To ensure there is no impact to the service provided to customer.
23. Ensure all required requests are submitted through MY ABM within agreed timescales.
24. Maintain toolkit and power tools in fit for purpose condition ensuring they are tested and calibrated if required. Report loss and damage to Contract Manager.
25. Attend all regional meetings with Line Management.
26. Contribute to all the Company Objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS / KEY REQUIREMENTS
27. Clean and current driving licence
28. 17th /18th Edition Electrical
29. City and Guilds NVQ3 (or Equivalent)
30. Testing & Inspection C&G 2391, 2394/5
31. Asbestos Awareness
32. Approved Persons, desirable
33. PASMA – As Required
34. IPAF- As Required
