Due to growth and sector expansion, we are recruiting for a Credit Controller to join our Altrincham office. You will be joining a dynamic and diverse team in a fantastic modern office in a convenient location! This role will be focused on managing our US customers.
What you’ll be doing:
* Managing the Debt of a mixed size portfolio of Clients
* Maintaining strong Client relationships both external and inter departmental
* Assist with ensuring new Clients are onboarded with accurate data entered into system.
* Understand the concept of Credit checking new and existing clients to help manage risk and be aware of any credit restrictions placed on a new client.
* Targeted month on month overdue debt levels
* Working closely with Shared Service Centre and Cash Receipt centre.
* Prepare reports on debt and present these in weekly debtors meeting to senior finance & operations managers with Senior Credit Controller support.
To be considered you need:
* Minimum 1 years previous experience within a Credit Control function
* Ability to reconcile complex accounts and have excellent attention to detail.
* Professional manner & confidence to communicate with senior people with the organisation
* Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships
* Ability to work well within a team
* Previous knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Navision desirable
* Experience within a shared services function an advantage
* Working to targeted month end debt levels with focus on year end target
