Job Opportunity: Senior Care Assistant Nights We’re looking for a friendly and caring Senior Care Assistant to join the team of a family-owned residential care home. You’ll be working 38.5 hours per week, with shifts from 7pm to 7am, with a competitive payrate of £14 per hour. This care home is a close-knit team dedicated to providing top-quality care to their residents. All you need is an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or be working towards it). What you’ll be doing: Ensuring a smooth handover at the start and end of your shift, so the team stays informed and connected. Creating a warm and caring environment that meets the physical and emotional needs of the residents. Helping with planning and maintaining adequate staffing levels, making sure everyone gets the support they need. Reviewing and updating care plans to make sure they align with residents' needs and wishes. Supporting residents with their daily personal care – including washing, bathing, dressing, and using hoists if necessary. Keeping the residents, staff, and visitors safe and comfortable. Encouraging a team approach to make the care home a welcoming and efficient place to be.
