Job summary The Respiratory Function department is looking to recruit a committed individual to join an expanding and friendly team as a Band 5 Respiratory Physiologist. Services currently offered include spirometry, lung volumes, gas transfer, plethysmography and reversibility testing, mannitol challenge testing, hypoxic challenge testing, muscle studies, CPET, overnight SpO2, multi-channel sleep study issue & reporting. We are looking for a qualified Clinical Respiratory Physiologist with relevant experience at that level and have their ARTP qualification either part I and Part II or Practitioners qualification. However, it would also be a great opportunity for someone who has recently qualified. Main duties of the job A Respiratory Physiologist is required to work within a small team to perform, assess and report on a wide range of respiratory procedures, working autonomously within local and national guidelines whilst adhering to best professional practice.
