As a Sustainability Reporting Officer, you will be part of the Corporate Finance & Sustainability team. Your role will involve measuring, analysing, and reporting our environmental and social impacts to ensure our sustainability goals are met. This includes preparing periodic sustainability reports, managing a comprehensive inventory of our green installations, and keeping the organisation informed on environmental risks. You'll be integral to influencing key decisions that shape our sustainability strategy. What skills and experience do you need? For this role, you'll need a methodical approach to collecting, cleansing, and analysing data, with the ability to present reports, summaries, and infographics that are both professional and impactful. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll be engaging with a variety of stakeholders, and you'll need the confidence to question data accuracy when necessary. Attention to detail is crucial, especially when handling complex data. Ideally, you’ll have knowledge in data reporting, validation, and assurance, with some familiarity with sustainability frameworks like the Sustainability Reporting Standard for Social Housing and an understanding of carbon reporting metrics. Experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is important, and any relevant qualifications in sustainability or graphic design would be beneficial. What are the pay and benefits? The salary for this role is £38,052 for a 37-hour, full time, permanent position Agile working with location flexibility.
