What you will do in your working day
As the Customer Service Apprentice, you are the first point of contact for our Accident Repair Centre customers and Insurance companies, both face to face and over the telephone.
The role holder will:
* Organise and ensure the efficient booking and repairing of customers vehicles
* Support with co-ordinating work in the Accident Repair Centre
* You will be responsible for ensuring customers work is progressed swiftly and processed in line with company and customer expectations whilst maintaining a positive relationship with all parties
* The role will also involve accurate data management and co-ordinating the distribution of documents.
Included within this role is supporting our Vehicle Damage Assessor in:
* Diagnosing
* Estimating
* Documenting repairs, parts and productive hours required to complete a job in line with customer and company expectations.
This will allow you to get an insight into the Vehicle Damage Assessor role before progressing into the next stage of your apprenticeship. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team. You must have a passion for excellent customer service, be a team player, have great attention to detail and a dedicated and motivated mentality.
The training you will be getting
Candidates will work towards achieving Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship standard. They will also be required to study towards achieving level 2 maths and English functional skills if they do not already hold equivalent qualifications.
Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship standard
Standard Training will include:
* Nationally recognised qualifications
* IMI level 2 Certificate in Customer Service for the Automotive Industry
* ATA Accreditation Customer Service Advisor
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
The successful applicant will join us on a Level 2 Customer Service Apprenticeship programme initially for approximately 13 months. Following completion of this apprenticeship programme there is an opportunity to progress onto a Level 4 Vehicle Damage Assessor Apprenticeship programme for a further 3 years, resulting in you becoming a qualified Vehicle Damage Assessor.
