About You:
As a Teacher of PE at Caister Academy, you will be a positive role model and consistently demonstrate the positive attitudes, values and behaviours, which we expect of pupils. There may be requirements to teach outside of the specialised subject. Our ideal candidate would have:
· Good knowledge of the pedagogy associated with Physical Education
· Ability to be supportive professionalism
· Willingness to reflect upon your own experiences in a critical and constructive manner
· Vibrant personality and interpersonal skills
About the department:
The Physical Education department at Caister Academy is a dynamic and thriving team that consistently delivers excellent KS4 results. With a dedicated staff of four, including two full-time and two part-time teachers, we are committed to promoting physical health, teamwork, and leadership among students utilising the most up to date teaching and learning strategies alongside maximising the provision given to our learners.
Our department is proud to offer an outstanding array of extracurricular opportunities, from competitive team sports such as football, netball, and athletics, to individual activities like badminton and fitness training. We foster a supportive environment where every student, regardless of ability, can thrive and develop a lifelong love of physical activity.

Requirements:
To apply for the Teacher of PE role, you must:
· Qualified to degree level or above
· Qualified teacher status
· Experience of teaching across the full age and ability range of an 11-16 school.
· Experience in the use of ICE in the classroom with the skill to impact that expertise to others.
