Regional NEBOSH SHEQ Advisor required to assist in the management of health, safety, quality and environmental matters within a utilities service provider.
Job Summary
Assist in the management of health, safety, quality and environmental matters within a utilities service provider, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Advise and assist in the planning and promotion of health, safety, environment and quality programs.
* Interpret and advise on the implementation of company policies, procedures and safe systems of work.
* Engage and communicate with operational staff to ensure compliance with health, safety, environment and quality requirements.
* Monitor health, safety, environment and quality performance on contracts and take steps to improve standards.
* Carry out regular site, compound and CDM audits to ensure compliance with relevant documentation and regulations.
* Assist in compiling, reviewing and revising project SHEQ documentation and welfare setup.
* Investigate accidents, incidents and utility damages to establish root causes and introduce preventative measures.
* Ensure all levels of staff have the appropriate training in health, safety, quality and environmental matters.
* Co-ordinate with the SHEQ Department in all health, safety, environment and quality matters.

Requirements
* NEBOSH/NCRQ Level 6 (NVQ Level 5 as a minimum standard).
* EUSR or CSCS in a related subject.
* NRSWA (SWQR).
* Working knowledge of HSG47.
* Power/Fibre/Water/Gas/renewables experience.
* Proficient in Accident/Incident investigation & RCA.
* Proficient in data analysis & compiling Reports.
* Competent in core standard Microsoft Software.
