We provide housing related support for customers in our complex care services across several dispersed properties in the Hull area, as well as some shared CQC registered Learning Disability settings – Kingston House in Hull and Albion House in Driffield.
Typical day as a Housing Management Coordinator
* You’ll work across multiple, specialist supported services, focusing on tenancy support and providing a housing management offer to our customers.
* You’ll support them to effectively manage their tenancy and rent payments, including housing benefit claims and making sure that these are received on their rent account.
* You’ll assist with the reporting of repairs and liaising with internal and external partners to ensure satisfactory completion. Periodically visiting the addresses to fulfill health and safety compliance checks.
* You will work collaboratively alongside our care team to support customers to sustain their tenancies and achieve excellent tenant satisfaction outcomes.

You bring
* You’ll be able to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.
* You’ll be experienced in providing tenancy and housing support in many ways including effectively managing voids, inspecting properties to identify maintenance issues and carrying out health and safety checks.
* You’ll be confident in enforcing tenancy conditions and collecting rent and service charges.
* You’ll be committed to ensuring our properties are maintained up to hotel standards and are ready for occupancy so that people who need our help to change their lives can move in quickly.
* You’ll bring a “can do” positive attitude, you’re proactive and well-organised, and able to work on your initiative.
Due to limits on our current certificates of sponsorship, we are not able to offer sponsorship to external candidates for this role. This remains under regular review.
Our team
You’re going to be part of a fabulous Home Group family. You’ll be reporting to Becky, our Client Service Manager in her small friendly team, all dedicated to creating great places to live and work. You will also be working alongside the care colleagues based at the services, led by Registered Managers Emma and Leanne.
Job details
* Working hours will usually be between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
* We can be flexible to agree on a working pattern to accommodate your hours for this role.
* We need you to be flexible to meet customers’ needs, but we’ll give you the time you need to do the things that matter to you!
* When you join, you’ll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for this, if you don’t have a transferrable one already.
