We are seeking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across the Early Years Foundation Stage and work alongside staff to support families. Support may be required in other areas at the discretion of the Senior Leadership Team.
As a Level 3 TA, you will complement the teachers’ delivery of the EYFS curriculum by working in a variety of roles. These include supporting individual children or small groups with SEND, delivering and leading interventions, and fostering the development of groups within a play-based and classroom environment. You may also be asked to cover teacher absences, delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
Fantastic CPD opportunities are available within the school and the Trust.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has high expectations of themselves and the team and children they work with.
* Knowledgeable about how children learn across the full primary age range.
* Can deliver whole class and group teaching sessions to a high standard.
* Is creative and can produce high quality displays.
* Patient, nurturing and positive, able to build relations built on trust and respect.
* Flexible and able to adapt quickly to support colleagues, children and families
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and administration skills
* Able to work in partnership with colleagues, parents and outside agencies to secure the best outcomes for our children and families
* Holds a relevant Early Years qualification
