We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead and manage a dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of managing staff and driving success in a team-oriented environment. This role requires a leader with substantial experience in billing operations and team management. Hybrid remote possibility after an introductory period.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage a team of 18+ individuals, providing direction, motivation, and support to ensure operational excellence and achievement of organizational goals.
2. Oversee and ensure the timely and accurate processing of billing, adhering to all policies and regulatory requirements.
3. Collaborate across departments to streamline billing processes, improve efficiency, and resolve issues quickly.
4. Mentor, coach, and develop team members, fostering a positive, high-performing environment.
5. Implement performance metrics and provide regular feedback to staff to ensure continuous improvement and professional growth.
Key Qualifications:
1. Five (5) years of billing leadership experience in a relevant industry, with a proven ability to manage complex billing systems and operations.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience managing a medium-sized team, with the ability to inspire and drive success across multiple team members.
3. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
4. Bachelor’s or Associate degree in healthcare administration, or business administration or equivalent experience. Certified Patient Account Manager (CPAM) desired.
5. Proven ability to work collaboratively and foster team engagement, accountability, and high morale.
Preferred Skills:
1. Experience with the Paragon suite of applications, or comparable.
2. Experience working within a hospital acute care system, with in-depth knowledge of healthcare operations, billing processes, and industry-specific requirements.
