Job Title : Project Planner Location : Bellshill, Glasgow Hours : Monday–Thursday, 8am–5pm | Friday, 8am–3pm Salary : 45k-55k Role Overview A UK Leader in the Building Services Sector are expanding their team in Bellshill and looking for a Project Planner to support with their projects from design to construction. They specialise in sustainable offsite prefabricated solutions and have a strong presence across the UK and Europe designing, developing and delivering energy solutions and district heating projects Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate works from the design to the construction phase. Monitor progress during construction, update plans, and manage revisions. Attend project meetings to present updates and key project information. Prepare and manage construction programmes, ensuring accurate timelines for senior management reports. Forecast project timelines, labour, and resource requirements. Support programme decision-making by preparing and presenting programme data. Coordinate with project teams to accelerate tasks and resolve issues. Monitor progress against plans, identify improvements, and produce reports like S curves and dropline programmes. Provide proactive support to site and project teams, suggesting actions to address challenges. Experience Required 2–3 years in a similar role with a solid understanding of the construction process from design to completion. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office packages. Responsible, proactive, results-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously. Excellent time management, planning, and prioritisation skills. Strong written and verbal communication. Collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement. Flexibility to undertake work-related travel when required.
