About the role We have an exciting opportunity to join us as the pivotal face of Jisc in our Bristol office. As a Facilities Assistant, you will provide a high quality support service in terms of front of house and back office functions, that support the operation and governance aspects of Jisc’s Property portfolio. You will be working full time from our Bristol office, however you will be required to cover on occasion for absence at any of our main hubs (London, Manchester and Milton Park - Oxfordshire). Responsibilities will include: Front of House duties including reception and administrative support for staff and visitors. Maintain a reception service for all visitors and meetings, ensuring meeting rooms and communal areas are kept fit for purpose. Support the delivery of office facilities services including inductions and associated paperwork for new starters. Assist the Manager in the operation of contracts across offices, including cleaning and maintenance contracts. Manage all incoming and outgoing post. Key Skills and Experience: Demonstrable track record of success delivering administrative support and a first-class reception service. Proficient in MS Office to develop and maintain databases and spreadsheets. Well organised with initiative to manage and prioritise workload. Effective communication skills, acting as the first point of contact for the team. Ability to maintain a professional approach at all times. Don’t meet every single requirement?
