We are looking for a part-time Retail Implementation Stock Generation Assistant (3 days/21 hours) to join our Retail Change & Central Operations team. The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is the leading cardiovascular research charity in the UK, funding around £100 million of life saving research each year - with the Retail directorate contributing nearly £30 million towards this annually. This pivotal role involves processing stock collection requests for new retail shop sites, optimising online processes, and delivering continuous improvements for our stock collection booking system. You'll collaborate closely with the Stock Generation Lead to create a donated stock package, ensuring all activity is delivered on time for our field team to prepare the site for trading. As Retail Implementation Stock Generation Assistant, you will work with teams across the business, including Retail colleagues, the Transport team and the Fundraising, Marketing & Engagement directorate. You’ll be responsible for collaborating with field teams to determine stock needs and setting up and managing internal systems for stock generation. You will also track stock availability and liaise with various teams to ensure smooth processes for new store openings. Working requirements This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and one our Northampton office. Please note this is a part-time role working Wed – Fri (21 hours) At the BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office. This role requires bi-weekly attendance in the office on a Wednesday. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause. About you We are looking for someone with strong IT skills, proficient in MS Office and database systems. Customer focused with excellent administration and organisational skills; you’ll have previous experience working in an administrative support role. Able to clearly present information, you’ll have good attention to detail and a conscientious approach. Highly efficient you’ll be able to work to multiple deadlines simultaneously and be able to adapt and creatively solve problems.
