Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Coordinator to oversee and manage our clients purchasing process. The successful candidate will be responsible for raising purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, tracking production and delivery timelines, and following up on payments. In addition, the role involves preparing necessary reports in collaboration with the Finance department.
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday: Hours to be confirmed at interview stage
Salary:
£27,000 - £28,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Raise Purchase Orders (PO):
* Create and process purchase orders, ensuring all details are accurate and clear.
* Send purchase orders to suppliers for confirmation.
2. Supplier Communication:
* Liaise with suppliers to confirm product availability and negotiate pricing.
* Establish and confirm production and delivery timelines.
3. Production & Delivery Coordination:
* Monitor production schedules.
* Follow up with suppliers to ensure that deliveries are made on time and in full.
