Life Reimagined Constructive Bio is a VC-backed biotechnology startup based in Whittlesford, Cambridge. Key responsibilities: The company is looking to form an in-house finance team and is hiring a part-time accounting clerk, responsible for the following activities: Set-up vendors in the accounting system. Process accounts payables transactions (invoice matching vs PO, bookings and accruals). Process employee reimbursement reports. Set-up customers in the accounting system. Generate customer invoices. Apply cash payment against account receivables. Prepare payment proposals. Prepare VAT filing proposals. Maintain fixed assets ledger and depreciation. Load Payroll files for booking. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Prepare for review financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements. Perform bank reconciliations and prepare balance sheet accounts reconciliations. Requirements: At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping and VAT return preparation. Basic knowledge of UK GAAP. Competency in MS Office, procurement, expense management and accounting software (Amici, Pleo and Xero will be a plus). Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. What’s in it for you?
