About the Role
The typical day involves admitting and preparing animals for surgery including monitoring patient status, anesthesia, accurate record-keeping, pre and post-surgery observations, stock ordering, assisting vets with surgical procedures and consultations, running nurse consultations, and discharging pets.
We are looking for a qualified RVN who has good general nursing skills and who enjoys variety within their role.
Our facilities include two consulting rooms, nurse-led clinics, a dispensary, separate cat and dog wards, and lab facilities.
We are 100% small animal practice and we operate from two branches located in the heart of the East Midlands, both equipped with full operating facilities, including multi-parameters, digital X-ray, ultrasound, and we are currently trialing the new Imagyst microscope from Zoetis.

About Bell, Brown & Bentley
We currently have 4 Veterinary Surgeons and 7 Registered Veterinary Nurses who are supported by a team of Student Nurses, VCA's, and Receptionists. The team are experienced, keen to teach, and are a very friendly group to work alongside to provide an excellent standard of care to our patients and clients.

We can accommodate a number of shift patterns e.g. 4x 10h days or 5 x 8 hour days. Our team on 8 hour days usually work a selection of 8am - 4:30pm, 9:30am - 6pm, 10:30am - 7pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch. Our 10h shifts are usually 3 full days 8-7pm and then a shorter day with a day off in the week but we can be flexible if needed. Rotas are put out 4 weeks in advance. Saturdays 8am till 1pm usually 2 in 10 Saturdays on a rota system. We are closed on all UK bank holidays and have no OOH.
