About the Role Working within our Security Team, the Corporate Applications Specialist provides critical support not only for PXC but across all TalkTalk Group business areas. You will work closely with all of our Technology Teams and 3rd party suppliers to deliver Corporate Application solutions and projects whilst also providing 3rd line support of all corporate applications. This will include Active Directory across multiple domains and Forests, Microsoft Exchange, Entra ID, Azure Environments, Office 365 in a hybrid environment throughout. What you will be working on You will liaise with IT Managers, Infrastructure SMEs, System Owners, OSPs and other Departmental Teams on a range of projects, therefore you will need to have engagement from these individuals/teams and partners for successful project delivery. Responsible for ensuring that Corporate Application Services continually runs at optimum performance levels to deliver our customer's service expectations which will involve utilising TalkTalk specialists and partner resources. Contribute to the day-to-day delivery of all technical products & services (under the responsibility of the Head of Enterprise Infrastructure Services function in TalkTalk Technology) in line with relevant products and service. Includes relevant cross-functional engagement to ensure optimum process flow and delivery. Professionally represent the Corporate Application Services team as a technical consultant on projects. Work within strict time frames, managing and escalating incidents where necessary. Be part of a team of a specialised team to provide Corporate Application support, Documentation and technology delivery for critical systems that are fit for purpose and support the business in achieving business objectives/improve customer experience. Contribute and provide direction and governance to TalkTalk and partners who manage and monitor corporate application services systems to identify performance, compliance, and capacity issues. Contribute to the direction and transformation projects, providing enthusiasm, drive and energy to succeed, and by being a positive example to peers, project managers, team managers and Heads of Department. Work within a team to provide on call support within the infrastructure services function. Undertake infrastructure coordination related to application design and setup activities at different stages of a project’s life cycle. Resolve issues and prepare status reviews and reports. Interact and build positive working relationships with external stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors to deliver the needs of our business through collaboration. Represent and undertake corporate applications tasks related to design and setup during various TalkTalk Projects. Maintain a good working knowledge and documentation of corporate applications, identifying future trends and services. Maintain a good knowledge of forthcoming industry initiatives and technologies. Always be confident to suggest suitable solutions to issues and innovate where appropriate. Demonstrate a logical approach, balancing business requirements with a ‘keep it simple’ configuration strategy. Work with our outsourcing partners to achieve an enterprise capable infrastructure layer with significant compute virtualisation and orchestration. Continuously look for areas of improvement and simplification within their own team and within the infrastructure.
