We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and resilient member to join our growing Senior Management Team to conduct our recruitment procedures at a growing Residential Care Home provider. Job Summary
To provide business service/ administration procedures within the organisation with a key focus on intense compliance recruitment checks, to support the homes and Senior Management Team in quickly filling posts with the right candidates. Contribute effectively as a member of the senior management team within Tanglewood Care Homes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist the Home Manager with the recruitment of team members, ensuring that the process is followed accurately and considers relevant legislative requirements including protected characteristics.
2. Post attractive adverts when requested; screen all CVs/applications and create a shortlist of suitable applicants. Support the Homes in arranging interviews.
3. Make employment offers and produce offer letters for candidates, keeping in touch throughout the wait to employment.
4. Complete thorough reference checks to cover employment history and complete DBS checks.
5. Update recruitment trackers and ladders, ensuring a full understanding of available vacancies and updating accordingly when starters are pending.
6. Where necessary, support in arranging start dates.
7. Effective resource planning and manage cost controls to deliver a first-class, but sustainable, volume recruitment service.
8. Provide a hands-on approach and ensure agreed targets are met.
9. Manage relationships and produce management reports.
10. Understand the benefits associated with working with Tanglewood Care Homes and be able to explain them to applicants.
11. Perform any reasonable administration duties as required by the Senior Management Team (i.e., diary management, travel arrangements, etc.).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.00 per hour
