SEN Teaching Assistant (Supply)\n\nLocation: Southampton\nContract Type: Supply (Short-Term/Ad-Hoc)\nSalary: 13.86 P/H\nStart Date: Immediate\n\nAbout the Role:\nWe are looking for a dedicated and caring Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our school on a supply basis. In this flexible role, you’ll provide essential support to students with a range of learning needs, helping them to thrive in a nurturing and inclusive environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nProvide one-on-one and small group support for students with special educational needs.\nAssist in the delivery of tailored lessons, ensuring students can access the curriculum.\nSupport students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs in and out of the classroom.\nWork collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to monitor student progress and adapt support as required.\nHelp to create an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere.\nSupport students with personal care and mobility if necessary.\nKey Requirements:\n\nExperience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable.\nA caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting students.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.\nA passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning and succeed.\nRelevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent) would be beneficial.\nWhy Join Us:\n\nFlexible working hours with the potential for ongoing supply work.\nA supportive and inclusive school environment.\nOpportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives.\nCompetitive pay and benefits.\nAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
