Job Description: Ergonomics specialist sought to assist with increased efficiency and minimise the negative impact of work packages on human and manufacturing systems.
This is a 12 month contract based onsite in Broughton.
Responsibilities include:
* Influencing product development in line with design for manufacture principles
* Developing and driving strategic plans for ergonomic risk reduction interventions
* Identifying work related ergonomic risk factors and proposing solutions to mitigate risks
* Applying national laws, regulations and standards related to Human Factors and Ergonomics
* Supporting Human factor improvement projects with different stakeholders
About you:
You will have:
* Educated to degree level in Ergonomics/Human Factors
* Accredited to Registered Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (CIEHF) or equivalent
* Good background in human factor sciences, work physiology, biomechanics, cognition
* Experience in identifying ergonomics risk factors in the workplace and anticipating risk
