Purpose of the job
Support the sales teams using your technical knowledge, technical account management skills, sales ability, and a strong customer-first focus. You can take and give direction. You work closely with the sales colleagues to achieve the desired targets.
1. Learn the technical details concerning the BU-related Products.
2. Provide pre-sales technical assistance, product education, and demo support as required and help Barco and Partner sales teams with the preparation of tender documents.
3. Offer support to customers on technical-related matters and become a trusted advisor for all critical accounts and prospective customers.
4. Create, manage, and execute on support contracts.
5. Work with the Barco and Partner sales teams on planning and organizing sales opportunities.
6. Manage customer relations by soliciting and logging client feedback.
7. Gather and interpret customer requirements. Determine the best solution in collaboration with the Product management team.
8. Identify areas where we can improve customer satisfaction and repeat business, then communicate those issues and possible solutions to upper management.
9. Attend, manage, and participate in all required shows, meetings, and training sessions.
Qualifications:
• Excellent relationship/stakeholder management.
• Able to communicate in English and other languages depending on the region you support.
Result management:
• Technical curiosity and a natural flair for technical application.
• Ability to break down technical concepts into more ‘user-friendly’ terminology.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and techniques with the ability to analyze and interpret customer requirements, identify issues and problems, and offer appropriate action plans towards resolution.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
• Familiar with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
