Position Overview
As a Legal Administrative Assistant in our wills and probate department, you will play a key role in supporting our legal team with administrative tasks and client care. This is an ideal position for someone with experience in legal admin or paralegal work, particularly within the areas of wills, probate and trust law.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide administrative support to solicitors in the probate department
2. Prepare and manage legal documents, including wills and powers of attorney
3. Maintain accurate records and file management, ensuring confidentiality and compliance
4. Liaise with clients with empathy and professionalism, addressing inquiries and speaking with clients face to face
5. Assist with document drafting, billing, and general office support as required
Qualifications and Skills
1. Previous experience in a legal administrative role, ideally in wills, probate, or estate planning
2. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
3. Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
